Substitutes
Persons with proof of 36 hours of college credit may apply to substitute teach in the Pleasant Hill R-III School District.
- Interested applicants may apply by clicking on this link and completing an online application.
- Please submit: a copy of driver’s license, copy of social security card and a copy of transcripts.
- Applicants can specify the building, grade level or subject matter for which they feel most qualified to substitute.
- Qualified applicants are placed on a substitute list that is sent to building principals for their review and selection.
Persons who do not have 36 hours of college credit, may obtain your certification to become a substitute teacher in Missouri through completing Frontline Substitute Teacher Training. This training is approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The training program consists of approximately 20 hours of content specifically designed for substitute teachers and aligned to Missouri Teaching Standards.
